Why you'd want it

The free web tool checks one domain at a time. When you need to screen 200 prospects for obvious technical problems, or run a monthly sweep across your own portfolio, pasting them in one by one doesn't scale.

This runs concurrently — 200 sites in about 3 minutes.

What it checks

CheckWhat it tells you
Body text lengthPlain text inside <main>. Under 800 chars usually means client-side rendering
H1 structureCount and content — zero or several are both problems
title / descriptionLength, to catch truncation
Structured dataNumber of JSON-LD blocks plus every @type
Image altMissing count and percentage
canonicalPresent or absent
viewportMobile meta tag
sitemapType (single / index / missing), URL count, declared in robots.txt
AI crawler policySplit into search crawlers and training crawlers — two different consequences
StackNext.js / Nuxt / WordPress / Shopify

Why the AI crawler split matters

Most tools don't do this. GPTBot handles model training; OAI-SearchBot handles ChatGPT search citations. Blocking the first protects your content; blocking the second silently removes you from AI answers. The robots.txt syntax for both looks nearly identical.

Usage

python audit.py example.com
python audit.py --file sites.txt --out report.csv --workers 10

CSV is UTF-8 with BOM — opens cleanly in Excel and Sheets.

FAQ

How many sites can it handle?
No hard limit. 200 sites at 10 concurrent with ~2s average response takes roughly a minute.
Can I add my own checks?
Yes. Each block in audit() is independent — copy one and modify it. The CSV field list is in main(); keep them in sync when you add a field.
Does a low score mean no traffic?
No. The score reflects technical configuration only, not content quality or market demand. It answers "what's technically fixable", not "is it worth fixing".
Can I use it for client work?
Yes — auditing client sites and charging for it is the most common use. Resale and redistribution are not permitted.

Licence

One-time licence for your own use and your client projects. No resale, no redistribution, no offering it as a service. Full terms: Terms of Sale.
